INVITATION FOR BIDS

Pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 149, Sections 44A to 44H, inclusive, of the Massachusetts General Laws, the Town of Natick, MA, the Awarding Authority, (hereinafter referred to as “Owner”), by the Natick Board of Selectmen, will receive sealed bids from responsible and eligible prequalified bidders for the General Contract (“Contract”) for the Construction of a New West Natick Fire Station at the Natick Town Hall, 2nd Floor Board of Selectmen, 13 E. Central Street, Natick, MA 01760.

Sealed Bids for the prequalified Filed Sub-Contracts designated herein will be received at Natick Town Hall, 2nd Floor Board of Selectmen, 13 E. Central Street, Natick, MA 01760

The DCAMM classification required for the general contractor is “General Building Construction.”

Filed sub-contracts will be required on the work in the following categories:

A Pre-Bid conference will be held on Monday, February 11, 2019, at 2:00 P.M. local time at the existing West Natick Fire Station, 268 Speen Street, Natick, MA 01760.

The Bid Documents may be obtained from Andrew T. Johnson Online Planroom, https://www.atjplanroom.com/, beginning on January 30, 2019 at 12:00 P.M. (local time).

There is a plan deposit of $300.00 per set payable to The Town of Natick. Deposits may be in the form of a cahiers check or money order. This deposit will be refunded upon return of the sets in good condition within ten days of receipt of general bids. Otherwise the deposit shall be the property of the Awarding Authority.

Bidders requesting Contract Documents to be mailed to them shall include a separate check for $75.00 per set for UPS Ground , payable to Andrew T. Johnson Co Inc., to cover mail handling costs.

ANY ADDENDA FOR THIS PROJECT WILL BE POSTED TO THIS SITE AND AN ELECTRONIC NOTIFICATION WILL BE SENT OUT TO ALL REGISTERED PLAN HOLDERS. IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF PLAN HOLDERS TO CHECK AND DOWNLOAD ANY ADDENDA PRIOR TO SUBMITTING BIDS.
