CONSTRUCTION FOR THE NEW SHARON TOWN HALL BUILDING / DEMOLITION OF THE EXISTING SHARON TOWN HALL BUILDING SHARON, MA

Sealed Trade Contractor Bids from Trade Contractors for the trades listed herein, on forms furnished by The Awarding Authority, for the New Sharon Town Hall Building/Existing Sharon Town Hall

on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 until 2:00 p.m. local time, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud.

The Estimated Construction Cost (ECC) of this Project is $9,600,000.00.
A pre-bid conference and building/site tour will be held on Tuesday, August 28, 2018, at 9:00 a.m. local time at the Sharon Town Hall Building, 90 South Main Street, Sharon, MA 02067.

Trade Contractors are required for the following trades:

  • Masonry Work
  • Miscellaneous and Ornamental Iron
  • Dampproofing, Waterproofing and Caulking
  • Roofing and Flashing
  • Metal Windows
  • Tile
  • Acoustical Tile
  • Resilient Floors
  • Painting
  • Elevators
  • Fire Protection Sprinkler Systems including Clean Agent
  • Plumbing
  • Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning (HVAC)
  • Electrical

There is a plan deposit of $225.00 per set (maximum 2 sets) made payable to the Town of Sharon. Deposits must be in the form of a certified or cashiers check. The deposit will be refunded for up to two sets for general contractors and one set for sub-bidders upon return of the sets in good condition within thirty days of receipt of general bids. Otherwise the deposit shall be the property of the awarding authority.

Bidders requesting documents to be mailed, shall include a separate check, (company, certified, or money order) made out to Andrew T. Johnson Co in the amount of $75.00 for UPS Ground service.

ANY ADDENDA FOR THIS PROJECT WILL BE POSTED TO THIS SITE AND AN ELECTRONIC NOTIFICATION WILL BE SENT OUT TO ALL REGISTERED PLAN HOLDERS. IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF PLAN HOLDERS TO CHECK AND DOWNLOAD ANY ADDENDA PRIOR TO SUBMITTING BIDS.
