The City of Revere, Massachusetts, through its’ Public School Department will receive sealed bids for BID# SCH-2017-1006: BOILER ROOM RENOVATIONS AT JAMES GARFIELD ELEMENTARY/MIDDLE SCHOOL, 176 GARFIELD AVENUE, Revere, Massachusetts, in accordance with the Contract Documents prepared by BLW Engineers, Inc., P.O. Box 1551 – 311 Great Road, Littleton, MA 01460.

The estimated cost of the project is: $1,000,000.

Filed sub-bids in the category of Electrical must be accompanied by a copy of the Contractor’s Certificate of Eligibility for the category of work of the Sub-bid, an Update Statement, Certificate of Authority, Certificate of Good Faith, Certification of Payment of Taxes and Non-Collusion Affidavit.

General Bids will only be considered from bidders holding a Certificate of Eligibility from the Division of Capital Asset Management in the category of Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) and in a single project amount higher than the amount of the Bid. General Bids must be accompanied by a copy of the Contractor’s Certificate of Eligibility, an Update Statement, Certificate of Authority, Certificate of Good Faith, Certification of Payment of Taxes and Non-Collusion Affidavit.

Each General Bidder and each Sub-Bidder may obtain complete sets of the Bidding Documents, including Bid Forms, after 9:00 A.M. local time, on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at:

upon a non-refundable fee of $50.00 for each complete set of Bidding Documents. The fee is to be in the form of a certified or cashier’s check payable to the City of Revere. Addenda will be issued to all Bidders registered with Andrew T. Johnson Company, Inc. Faxes of addenda will not be provided.

IF YOU REQUIRE YOUR DOCUMENTS TO BE MAILED: Send Andrew T. Johnson Company, Inc., a non-refundable shipping fee in the form of a certified check or money order for each set, MADE PAYABLE AND MAILED DIRECTLY to Andrew T. Johnson Company, Inc. in the amount of $35.00 for UPS Ground Service.

A Pre-Bid Conference shall be held at the James Garfield Elementary/Middle School, 176 Garfield Avenue, Revere, MA on November 1, 2017 at 10 A.M., at which time the job site shall be made available for inspection.
