The Town of Cumberland, Rhode Island, acting through its Mayor, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids for the General Construction for Cumberland Public Safety Facility to be located at 1379 Diamond Hill Road, Cumberland, RI 02864, in accordance with Contract Documents prepared by Kaestle Boos Associates, Inc. 416 Slater Road, P.O. Box 2590, New Britain, CT 06050-2590.

Sealed bids shall be submitted on a form furnished by the Awarding Authority and clearly identified as a bid, endorsed with the name and address of the bidder, the name of the project, and Form of Proposal, and submitted to:

and received no later than the times set forth below, when they will forthwith be publicly opened and read aloud at this location. Late bids will be rejected.

Sealed bids for the General Contract will be received until 10:00 a.m. on THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 7, 2017.

A pre-bid conference will be held on THURSDAY, AUGUST 17, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. local time at the Town Council Chambers, Town Hall, 45 Broad Street, Cumberland, RI 02964.

All Requests for Information (RFI) are to be emailed or faxed to the attention of Scott Mangiagli at smangiagli@kba-architects.com. RFIs must be received by the Architect by August 31, 2017 – END OF DAY – Last day to receive RFIs.

All bidders may obtain complete sets of the Bidding Documents, including Bid Forms, online at atjplanroom.com after 12:00 p.m. local time, on August 7, 2017. Go to www.atjplanroom.com, click on Public Jobs then the project name. Drawings and specifications will be available to view and download. To download you must register for a free account, which will place you on the plan holders list to receive addenda when issued. Addenda will be issued to all Bidders registered with the Andrew T. Johnson Company, Inc. Faxes of addenda will not be provided.

Hardcopies of Bidding Documents will also be made available at Andrew T. Johnson Company, Inc. upon a non- refundable fee of $200.00 for each complete set of Bidding Documents. The fee is to be in the form of a certified or cashiers check payable to the Andrew T. Johnson Company, Inc.

IF YOU REQUIRE YOUR DOCUMENTS TO BE MAILED: Send Andrew T. Johnson Company, Inc.,, a non-refundable shipping fee in the form of a certified check or money order for each set, MADE PAYABLE AND MAILED DIRECTLY to Andrew T. Johnson Company, Inc. in the amount of $60.00 for UPS Ground Service.

ANY ADDENDA FOR THIS PROJECT WILL BE POSTED TO THIS SITE AND AN ELECTRONIC NOTIFICATION WILL BE SENT OUT TO ALL REGISTERED PLAN HOLDERS. IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF PLAN HOLDERS TO CHECK AND DOWNLOAD ANY ADDENDA PRIOR TO SUBMITTING BIDS.
