The Pasteur Hall Renovations consists of complete interior renovation of the basement, second, third and fourth floors of Pasteur Hall to provide about 30,000 gsf of offices, administrative areas, conference rooms and common areas for the Computer Science and Mechanical Engineering Departments.

The Scope of Work of this Request for Bids includes the following trades: Electrical

The estimated construction cost for the entire project is Ten Million Dollars ($10,000,000.00). However, the estimated construction cost for the Early Demolition & Abatement/Enabling Project Work subject to this RFB is identified below.

The on-site construction start date for the Project is anticipated to be 6/19/17.

Substantial Completion is estimated to occur no later than 6/18/18. The Trade Work covered by this RFB will begin on or about 6/19/17 and shall be complete no later than 9/1/17.

This Request for Bids relates only to the trades identified below and the Scope of Work specifically identified in the Plans and Specifications issued herewith.

Interested prequalified firms may obtain copies of the Construction Documents by depositing a certified, treasurer’s, cashier’s, or official bank check payable to the University of Massachusetts Building Authority in the amount of $60.00/set (max. 2 sets) of the Construction Documents, at the following location.
Bidders requesting documents to be mailed, shall include a separate check, (company, certified, or money order) made out to Andrew T. Johnson Co in the amount of $25.00 for UPS Ground service.

A Pre-bid Conference and Site Tour will be held on Thursday May 18, 2017 at 2pm at UMass Lowell Pasteur Hall Class Room 301 at 1 University Ave, Lowell, MA. Parking in campus lots is not available; there are street or public parking lot meters available nearby.
