INVITATION FOR BIDS

This Bid is solicited to the General Public and a Contract will be awarded pursuant to the rules set forth in Chapter 30B of the Massachusetts General Laws and subject to the approval of Cohasset Public Schools.

Sealed Bids for furnishing and delivering Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment to Cohasset Middle High School will be received by Cohasset Public Schools (the Awarding Authority) at 143 Pond Street, Cohasset MA 02025, until 11:00am local time, on Monday 8 May 2017 at which time all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. In the event of District closing due to inclement weather, the bid opening will be held the following day, at the same time. Bids submitted via e-mail will not be accepted. No bid may be withdrawn after the time set for bid opening except by written notice received by the Awarding Authority prior to the time and date set for bid opening as set forth in the advertisement.

Should a bidder request printed bid documents, a deposit of $30.00 per set (maximum two sets) made payable to Cohasset Public Schools will be required. Deposits must be in the form of a certified or cashier’s check. The deposit will be refunded for up to two sets for general contractors and one set for sub-bidders upon return of the sets in good condition within thirty days of receipt of general bids. Otherwise the deposit shall be the property of the awarding authority.

Bidders requesting documents to be mailed, shall include a separate check, (company, certified, or money order) made out to Andrew T. Johnson Co in the amount of $25.00 for UPS Ground service.
