Consigli Construction is providing Construction Management Services to University of Massachusetts Building Authority (UMBA) for Renovation of Existing Academic Buildings at the University of Massachusetts in Boston, MA. The project consists of building wide MEP renovations (with selective demolition and patching), as well as selective and strategic renovations to the instructional, support and common spaces on the 1st and 2nd floors of two existing academic buildings, McCormack Hall and Wheatley Hall. The program encompasses general purpose classrooms and learning commons to support a 15,000 student enrollment; specialized instructional space for a select group of College of Science and Math, College of Liberal Arts and the School for the Environment (SFE) units; SFE faculty offices and new gender inclusive bathrooms. The REAB project includes 5 classroom phases and 3 lab phases that run concurrently. Construction Documents for this project are prepared by CannonDesign. On behalf of the Owner, Consigli Construction is soliciting bids for Masonry, Miscellaneous and Ornamental Iron, Roofing and Flashing, Glass and Glazing, Tile, Acoustical Tile, Resilient Floors, Painting, Fire Protection, Plumbing, HVAC, and Electrical.

1. BIDDING REQUIREMENTS FOR GMP BID PACKAGE

Trade Bids will be received by the Awarding Authority through Owner’s Project Manager, Hill International, Inc. located at 330 Congress Street, 6th Floor, Boston, MA 02210.

Trade Subcontractor Final GMP Package Bids are due, Tuesday May 9th, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. local time.

Bid Forms and Contract Documents will be available for pick up on Wednesday, April 19th, 2017 after 10:00 am at:

There is a plan deposit of $350.00 per set (maximum 2 sets) made payable to the University of Massachusetts Building Authority. Deposits must be in the form of a certified or cashier’s check. The deposit will be refunded for up to two sets for general contractors and one set for sub−bidders upon return of the sets in good condition within thirty days of receipt of trade bids. Otherwise the deposit shall be the property of the awarding authority.

Bidders requesting documents to be mailed, shall include a separate check, (company, certified, or money order) made out to Andrew T. Johnson Co in the amount of $75.00 for UPS Ground service.

Drawings and Specifications will be available to view and download. To download you must register for a free account, which will place you on the plan holders list to receive addenda when issued.

It is the sole responsibility of the contractor, subcontractor, vendor and any and all interested parties submitting bids to review all ADDENDA prior to submitting bids at, www.atjplanroom.com.
